So four more days untill surgery, i'm beggining to feel a little nervous. I think it's not so much the surgery but the thought of this just being another quick fix. As many of us here, i have tried almost every diet in the book and have lost weight but gained it back. The surgery part, well that's just a risk i have to take only the good lord knows what's going to happen. The great thing about this site is that I can take confort in the fact that I'm on the journey others have taken and succeded.

Cold feet is normal. You'll do great as long as you do your part...the band isn't a quick fix, but it will be there to help you along the way if you learn to work with it. Best wishes! -BG

Best wishes to all the new LBers out there. Please take the time you need to heal and feel better after your surgery. I needed almost two weeks before I was myself again. I saw a video of the surgery only last week and I was very surprised at all the pulling, pushing and tugging with the long tong like tools that they use. Now I know why it is important to rest after and not do too much. Drink fluids and then when it is time to eat food do not drink with your meals. I am so happy with my band I could jump for joy. It has been an amazing journey working with the band. Good Luck. You will do well....imaluckydog
