voiceomt2002 LAP-BAND Patients January 19, 201016 yr Author stats I'm laughing and at the same time, I'm nodding. My size 12's fell off in the first few months. Then my size 10's. My size 9's fell off last month. Up to this point, I'd bought mostly online or blindly going to the granny panties. This time, my daughter tricked me into (gasp-shudder) bikinis. In colors. (I still hyperventilate at the thought of the red sparkly ones.) I'm still a size 26 in my mind. Hmm...I see a blog coming...
LoseIt! LAP-BAND Patients January 19, 201016 yr Author stats I wear thongs (not the string kind, but thongs still) and have for years. I used to buy them from Lane Bryant and I loved them. But they changed them now and they don't hold up well. The ones that I have bought in the last couple of years are falling apart, so I'm STILL wearing the ones I bought 5 & 6 years ago. I have no idea what I will do when I lose weight, but I will have a good ole time figuring it out! Congrats on the cute undies!
Yvette1026 LAP-BAND Patients January 19, 201016 yr Author stats I LOVE lingerie regardless of my size...and have had no problem finding cute ones.. I've been a size 10 to 7, most of my super cute ones have come from the Avenue where the panties match your jean size... I'm in an 18/20 now which I believe would go into a size 8 in most stores, maybe a 7.. But try them all, lingerie can make a total difference. You could be wearing sweats, but a pretty lingerie set underneath and you'll feel like the belle of the ball and it will show out to everyone else. Confidence is sexy. As for cheap and cute ones.. Try target (they go up to size 10 in their cute ones) and fashion bug. Avenue and Lane Bryant have their own lines and aren't so cheap, although you can sometimes find a good sale. It's hard for me to get out of the habit of shopping there even though I don't necessarily "have" to as I fit into the "plus" that most stores carry, but old habits die hard I guess.. lol Happy shopping!
ldswims LAP-BAND Patients January 20, 201016 yr Author stats I know how hard it can be to find cotton - and anything but cotton isn't healthy for us women. Just ask me, I know. When I was thin and not like this, I used to try to wear the cute sexy stuff and every time I went shopping I'd buy microfiber cause "this time was gonna be different" and then I'd end up with issues. By the time I was 20 I gave up...I have found JC Penney actually has a great selection on cotton. If I'm doing day to day, I love jockey and when I'm gussying up, then I want what I call "pretties" and that's where JCP comes in handy. I can't wait to start shopping for pretties again. Especially bras! All I wear now are those stupid short camisole things...
