I am scheduled for surgery on 1/13/10! :)

 

I have my pre-appointments (pharmacy, anestesia, dietician, billing office) on 12/23

 

I start my optifast on 12/30 :blink:

 

I find that everytime I eat I am planning what I will eat at that particular restaurant next year this time :confused:

 

I have ordered several samples of protein powders. So far two have not horrible aftertaste in water with Crystal Light - Bene-protein and Design Natural. The bene-protein works pretty well in potatoes as well.

I found another protein powder that works well in Crystal Light. It's from All Natural Bulk Foods: Pure Whey Protein Powders & Powdered NonFat Dry Milk - Dairy Wholesale Direct Bulk Food. I only put a little in at a time, but it mixes well and doesn't affect the taste. I also stir some in my oatmeal in the mornings. Supposedly it's pretty good for baking, but I haven't gotten around to it yet. Hopefully soon. :)
