OMG I'm getting banded on the lst of Sept and I am also freaking out. Im terrified due to all the horror stories I have been reading. I AM SO SCARED. But i have to do this because if I dont I will just continue to get bigger and bigger. I am also diabetic and have high blood pressure and I think my risk of early death are much higher if I dont have the surgery. I have stopped reading all the bad posts and have decided to have a posititive attitude. I am looking forward to my new life and I will pray for you to have success and not a single complication. Email me on Sept l and I will tell you how I'm feeling. Remeber, you will have a new life to look forward too. Be excited and not scared.

You 2 will be fine! It's not that bad, really. I have had 4 c-sections and the pain is soooooo not that bad! It definately is a life changing surgery though!

Just focus on the positive and know that it's all worth it. I was more excited than anything going into it, but even I got nervous the day of...if you aren't a little nervous you wouldn't be normal. This is going to make so many good and healthy changes to your life! -BG
