Anyone Dealing with haters?

How do I deal with the haters? I havent told anyone except spouse and children that I was getting banded. there is one person at work that knows because we were both doing this on a buddy system, except she had GBP surgery. she is doing well and have lost 75 lbs and the haters are really giving her hell. What do I do? go ahead and tell them or continue to lie about it. Im 12 days out of surgery right now, but they will soon start to see my weight loss as well.:sad:

If they are haters...why are you hanging out with them?? The one thing I try and remember when people ask me questions I don't want to answer is to ask them, "Why do you want to know?". It usually stops them everytime. Good luck!

I look at my lap banding as the first day of the rest of my life and I am doing this for me not anyone else. I tell everyone about it and dont worry about what people say because I have never felt better and love losing the weight. Dont be afraid to share with people
