back pain

Has anyone experienced severe back pain a few days after a fill? I had my second fill on Friday and all seemed well. I didn't notice any difference at all. Then, last night I woke up in the night and thought I had the flu. My back and stomach hurt so bad. I took tylenol and went to sleep about 4 hours later. I was O.K. through the day and went to sleep at 10:00. Well, I woke up at 11:00 and my back and stomach are hurting so bad. Here it is 12:45 and I am in pain and can not sleep. Not sure if it has to do with the band or fill or if I just have a case of the flu. Has anyone had this experience? I wonder because I had really bad pains in my left shoulder for a long time after surgery. I thought it was just me and then I looked it up and found I was not alone and it was a common side effect of the surgery. Thank goodness that has gone away, but I have new aches and pains.

I hope in the end I will find this has all been worth it. I was banded April 29 and have only lost 16 pounds.

Please call your surgeon's office and let them know about the pain. I haven't heard of this before (stomach/band yes, back no).
