If you don't mind, what sort of complications did you have? I am waiting on insurance approval and am interested in hearing what others have gone through. You have obviously talked to your doctor if you say you are not supposed to eat? Is the gaining weight at first normal? Sorry for so many questions. I hope things turn around for you soon! I am sure you did the right thing in having the surgery done and in a month or so you will know you have!
