Day 2

I was banded yesterday:thumbup:, June 17 and everything went well. Dr. Chua, in Milwaukee, WI, is an excellent surgeon! He found out I had galls stones and my gallbladder was removed during surgery. Minimum pain after 2 days is at # 3. No gas/shoulder/neck pains yet. Just a little soreness.

I thank God that he brought me this far and I will do my part to work toward completing my weight loss goal.

good for you girl! i got banded the day before you. i live in missouri and had dr de la torre, he's excellent as well. i'm so glad you were able to get the insurance to pay for it. i had be a cash pay. worth every penny though. best 11,000 i've ever spent. at least i'll have something to show for it when i need the cash for something else. :o i'm on day three post op and not feeling much pain. the third day though is going to be rough i think. usually when i have surgery the third day after is the worst. we'll see though. well, good luck to you and let me know if you need anything.

You are both encouraging. I keep thinking the pain and post-op is going to be horrible. Maybe because they have to give you worst case scenarios in all the literature. Thanks for the encouragement.
