I went through the Bariatric Center of Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.  My primary care physician recommended me to them.  My surgeon is going to be Dr. Eliot Sieloff.  He is a really good surgeon, highly recommended by many for surgery.
The dietitian at the clinic told me about Bariatric Pal.  I figured what the heck??
I've been overweight almost my whole life.  I started gaining weight about age 6, before that I was skinny as a rail!   The physician in  charge of the clinic is Dr. Kelley Lang.  She is wonderful and her PA Gregg is too.  She immediately put my mind at ease and told me age 6 and 12 are usually ages when people who are quite large typically gain their weight.  Amazing!  I thought I was just a loser!!  She said it's a disease like many other diseases and I will have it the rest of my life, no matter how thin I get.  It will be something I constantly have to keep in mind.
I like their "invitation" to come back anytime.  I was told after surgery and the major weight loss, anytime I gained even 5 lbs, to make an appt and come back in and talk to them.  I plan on making this my pledge!  I and bound an determined not to gain back the weight I will hopefully lose.  This is a life c hanger!!
