I have aetna insurance.  I have open access by aetna.  Before I was approved I had to do 3 months of seeing a psychologist, talking to a nutrionist and a practitioner.  I did all of this at Trueresults.  I was approved after the 3 months.  I started my liquid diet on September 20, 2010 and weighed 429 lbs.  On October 7, 2010 the day of my surgery I was weighing 400 lbs.  So that was a lost of 29 lbs.Surger day was fine.  I was a little nervous..well very nervous.  I  never had surgery before.  My surgery time was at 8:30am.  They started on time and when I woke up it was about 9:30am or 10am.  I was not in to much pain at all.  I did not have any gas problems as I read might happen.  I arrived back home that same day around 1pm after we made a few stops after leaving the hospital.  I only took one picture the day before surgery and I will try and post here soon.  Today, October 26, 2010, I have lost 19 lbs after surgery day.  Since my liquid diet September 20, 2010,  I have lost a total of 148 lbs as of October 7, 2011. I'll try and take new pictures soon but  a little shy about posting pictures but I still might do that because I enjoy looking at everyones progress.I have a lot of health problems and I know the lapband will support me in loosing weight and hopefully get off some of these medicines i'm on.  I take 8 pills and some twice a day.I pray by christmas i will be able to eliminate some pills.That's my story and hope you enjoyed reading what I had to say about my experience.Take care-
Update: October 7, 2011.  I am off cholestrol and no longer a diabetic and my Doctor just told me they will be taking me off 1 or 2 of my blood presure medcine on my next visit. I am on 3 types of blood presure medicine right now. Take care.
