I was banded in 2006 and did well during the first four months. After that, I kept having problems with my band being too tight, then I would have to have the fluid removed. This happened several times. I was afraid to eat regular food at the risk of it getting stuck. Last year I had an endoscopy and it revealed a hiatal hernia. All of the fluid is out of my band, but food is still getting stuck.
