I have been reading the message boards on Bariatric pal for the past couple months to give me an idea of what to expect .
 
I saw my bariatric surgeon in May, had nutrition consult and psych eval the same day and received my approval within a few weeks.
 
I am having gastric sleeve done on Sept 15th. I scheduled it after a planning river cruise to Portugal!
 
Now that Sept 15th is fast approaching I decided to join Bariatric pal since this is becoming real! It seems like a supportive environment and I enjoy reading the posts from everyone in all stages of their weight loss journey.
