Had the LapBand in 2009. I successfully lost a majority of my excess weight and came within 20lbs of goal. But then the severe GERD started and after awhile I was vomiting a majority of what I ate. Sometimes even water.I had a complete unfill. Gained 25lbs. Still trying to follow the rules but it is hard to stay on track without the tool. My surgeon could not be more supportive. She wants to do a revision but with a BMI of 31 and no co-morbidities, insurance is not supportive, yet.Hoping it all works out...
