Hi! I'm Kim. I had the lap band on 4/16/15. Since my journey began with my initial appointment I have lost 40 pounds. I found this site through a Google search. I am looking for support and answers to various questions. I am a teacher by day and travel agent by night. This year will be my 50th birthday. I was tired of taking blood pressure meds and having high cholesterol. So far I have cut my BP meds in half.
