Hello.   I am 48 and live in Saratoga Springs NY.  I work in a chemical dependency rehab center.  I am married to a man who has always accepted my size...my best friend.  We are soon-to be empty nesters. We have 21 and 18 y/o daughters.....and a 7 y/o puggle (none of whom have ever seen me healthy or "thin').
 
I have an insurance approved surgery date of 4/8/15 with Dr Dmitri Baranov for gastric bypass.  I have always been a large volume eater but weight never seemed to be an issue much until I had my daughters and became sedentary at work.  Have tried ALL the diets....many times.   I would like to hear about others and their journeys.
