I am Lucia, I heard about BariatricPal from a coworker (who recently had the sleeve as well). She said this has been a great life saving app for her and highly recommended I download it. I have not had my surgery yet, my surgeon thinks we will be looking at around the end of March for surgery. I am both excited and nervous about this journey. I am looking forward to learning from many of you and hope to share my successes as well. Weight loss has been a long time struggle for me. I believe the gastric sleeve will be the right tool I need to help jumpstart my weight loss goals. I am 5'1" and currently 263lbs. I have had my Visit with the Surgeon and Nutritionist and have completed most of my tests. A couple more appointments and I will be on the way to surgery.
