Hello Everyone!  My name is Carey and I am from Ohio.  I found Bariatric Pal in hopes that it will help me through my bariatric surgery journey that is about to begin.  I have enjoyed reading the forums and feel encouraged from them.  I have surgery scheduled for January 14, 2015 and Dr Fletcher will be performing the surgery.  I have been overweight my whole life and have always struggled with my weight going up and down.  I also have a lot of medical issues, high blood pressure, diabeties, and joint pain.  My doctor is hopeful that this surgery will help me with it all.  I am ready to not feel tired, sick, and limited due to my weight.  I am the highest weight I have ever been in my life and it has been a wake up call.  I have a young daughter and I want to be able to keep up with her.  I have always failed with dieting and I am hoping by adding a support group of those who have gone through this that I will be able to stay strong.
