I have been overweight for all my life. A lot of times I don't like to look at my self in the mirror. I'm 39 going to be 40 in May and decided it's time to try this. I'm active and have done a bunch of 1/2 marathons and triathlons. I have a great time doing it and have made some really good friends but it hurts at the end and am really hoping that's once this weight comes off it will help make these things less painful and even more enjoyable.
I haven't had the surgery yet. I need 6 months of weigh-ins, blood work, sleep testing and nutrition before my insurance will cover it. Right now I'm at my second weigh in. I'm hoping by winter break (I'm a teacher) that i will be able to have it done it. If not then by January.
