About Me

  • Gender
    Female
My husband and I have been working hard this year to improve our health. We started the journey about 10 months ago with a visit to a seminar at a local surgeons office. We both decided to work hard and get all our appointments in to be able to have GBP this year together. Pre- surgery weight loss of 40 lbs. really helped me prepare. The doctor found a hiatal hernia and repaired it while I was on the table. Early on I had some issues getting in all the liquids and proteins. I am having some upper back pain and not sure where that is coming from. Perhaps from the hernia. I know the full liquid phase will pass soon and I can move to soft foods. Really want to minimize possible hair lose by getting in all my protein everyday. Like to hear from folks especially about back pain and hernia issues. As time has passed, I am now able to get in the required protein. Give yourself time that first week to heal and focus on your hydration. Can't wait to see what the next few weeks and months bring with my weight loss journey.
