I had lap band surgery about 4 years ago right before my mom passed away. I did well with it losing about 30 lbs. until I faced another huge loss. My sister passed away after Thanksgiving of that year, and I truly didn't care about anything much after that. Surely not my weight! Well, you know how they say you can eat around a band? Well, you can! So, here I am four years later, 15 pounds more than when I had the band, and about to get a sleeve. I'm scared and excited all at once!
