Well let's see, I am 30 year old mommy of 5. I had my surgery back on May 29th 2014, so fairly new to all of this. I have struggled with weight my whole life, tried every diet out there, every program and of course Ii would loose a lot and then gain it all back ..... my biggest lost was when I got into the LA weight loss, and got myself a bad case of anorexia while enrolled, I dropped down to 114 pounds, thankfully I got pregnant and for my baby I was able to get out of that mind set. Though I was in love with how clothes fitted me back at that weight and I felt so happy with myself,, I was starving all the time. I did this program twice , right after giving birth to my 3rd and 4th child with the same results. It was when I got pregnant with my 5th and last child that my mania didn't come back lol. And I not only kept the baby weight but started piling pounds like bags of sand in a storm....I have been fighting this weight for 5 years now, all yo yo diets and I am ready to get my freedom back....After surgery I was very extremely sore, it took my an extra day at the hospital to drink fluids beecause I was so inflamed. I am 20 days post op, have lost I wanna believe close to 30 pounds (not sure since I haven't weight myself due to my history of over doing weight loss attempts). I am still very sore , I walk like an old lady beecause from the top of my bellybutton to the mouth of my stomach it feels like i was burned, stinging uncomfortable pain all the time. I am a side sleeper but haven't been able to sleep any othher way than facing up since the surgery. I don't know if my body is a slow healer but this past weeks have been extremely hard for me. I am hoping it gets better, I was on the liquid diet an extra week because of the inflamation. During my full liquid diet I was only able to put down 4 oz of protein shake, but today I was able to have some refried beans :) about 1 tbsp and some egg this morning with miracle whip and salsa :) it was a lot of work for the 1/2 tsp I was able to put down before feeling super full lol but totally worth it :)
