Hello, I have been thinking about wls for about 5yrs. My mom has had it done and has kept it off for 15yrs. I started with a different hospital and got my approval for that hospital but they only did 4 people per yr with Medicaid. I was #5 so I was going to have to wait 10 mo. before I could have surgery. They didn't tell me I had to be 20lbs lighter. During that yr I last my baby bother from a Atv accident. They called me 4 wks after accident and and said they could go head with the surgery if I weighed20lbs less. So I switch hospital and have been very happy that I did. Choose you hospital carefully!
