My name is Nicole and I happened upon BariatricPal when I was looking for supportive weight loss surgery sites on the Internet. My primary care physician repeatedly suggested WLS due to my history, but I would always tell him that I wanted to try it on my own. I figured that it was time that I 'get help' when my sister-in-law got a job with a bariatric surgeon. I felt that if that wasn't a sign, what was?

I am currently in the process of getting my documentation for approval. I have had my psych eval, I have one more nutrition class and I am in month four of documented weight loss.

I am looking forward to receiving this tool to help me live a fuller life, since I am a wife, a mom to an almost two year old and hope to have at least one more child in the future.
