I was banded in April 2008 and lost all my goal weight plus some I didn't need to lose. I went from 213 pounds to 114 pounds. As I was trying to gain weight back, I found out my band had slipped. I decided to get revised to the sleeve instead of just having the band removed. I've heard too many horror stories where the weight is gained back after the band removal and no other WLS performed. I'm looking to maintain my weight, not necessarily lose weight.
