Hello!

My name is Cary and I live in Kentucky. I have a scheduled date for lap band surgery of Sept. 22nd. Of course, it could change depending on if the insurance company approves it in time (or at all!!!). They should approve it... it's covered. So I am hopeful all will go on as scheduled!

I am the secretary for our church, our daughter is 7 years old, and I've been married to my wonderful husband for 17 years!

I really look forward to the surgery! I need the band... as a tool... to help me control my eating. I am so tired of fighting a war with food, which I always fail at! I want to win this battle and the band will help me do that!

I know it won't be easy. I know it's not a magic pill. I understand this will take some effort on my part. But the band will be a wonderful tool that will help ensure that I succeed and win this "battle of the bulge!"
