  6. I love chipotle (burrito bowl, no rice) and jimmy johns (unwich). I also have gone to which wich, but thats not as fast. When I'm in a pinch i've done grill chicken wrap from Sonic & just ate the chicken. I've also had a whopper from burger king, but that was before any fills. Now i have problems with burger patties.

  11. be patient i was in a lotttt of pain where my port was stitched to my stomach for about a week. I didnt feel back to normal until about 2-2.5 weeks. I ended up taking all my pains meds, and my doctor told me i could take ibuprofen pm at night to help me sleep better instead of writing me a new prescription.
  12. i use it for lasagna.. add it to crab cakes.. make it into noodles.. the possibilities are endless!

i always ask for their rice free rolls. most places have 1 or 2. i still can only get 2-3 pieces down, but get kind of uncomfortable. i've only tried it twice.

  20. i had a vitamin D prescription, so my D levels should be pretty good right now.. maybe i need to get it rechecked!
  21. thats the thing, i was active before. i had awful back pain before, because my stomach was too big, but now its my collarbones that ache. the more i lose the more it hurts! and i actually cut back the last two weeks on the gym because life has gotten in the way..
  22. so i know this may sound weird, but the more weight i lose, the more my bones ACHE! i'm down 57 lbs and my collarbones KILL ME, some days more than other. i was wondering if anyone else dealt with an issue like this? i may mention it at my next doctors appt in october.
  23. Sorry to hear youre going through that. I was having those issues pre-band. I would wake up in the middle of the night, like you, choking on stomach acid. I drank baking soda almost every night. I had my hiatal hernia repaired the same time i had my lapband put in and I havent experienced acid reflux since. Congrats on your amazing weight loss so far! Even being unfilled! I hope you get answers.
  24. So it's been awhile since I last posted, but I'm still loving my lap-band! I had my second fill last monday, where she gave me .5ccs (my first fill was 4.4ccs). I was pretty disappointed when I heard how low she was going, but I agreed anyway, bc she didn't really want to give me one in the first place. I'm 3 months out and lost 50 lbs between pre-op and now, so she was really happy with my progress. Well.. I'm thinking i might be at green, or close to it. I can still eat and enjoy foods, but I'm noticing i get stuck if I'm not mindful of my eating. I've had 3 pb episodes, so I really need to focus on small bites, chewing well, and listening for my signals (usually a small hiccup). I'm still eating low carb, because it works best for me. Currently sipping warm green tea because i just had a pb episode with Quest Protein chips.

  26. Your stomach wall is still healing from the port being stitched to it. but, if youre that concerned, maybe you should call your doctor.
