Chest tightness

It's been 9 months since I had the surgery and everything seemed to be fine until last month where I started to feel this heavy feeling on my chest specially when I wake up. I feel I want to burp so bad but I just cant, I have to wait for like 2 hours until I finally get it out. What is this exactley ? is it acid, heartburn ? it's true that I haven't been drinking water a lot specially when the weather got cold. Could that probably be the reason ?. Please help

First of all, consult your doctor. You may be a tad overfilled. Another thing you could try is a warm drink (i drink tea) prior to bedtime. It works for me.

I really encourage you to see your doc. This is how my pain started. A year later I had herniated and the band had slipped and water was getting stuck in my chest. Had a new larger band put in on 11/23 and now life feels like living again and my raging heartburn has gone away.

Never mess around with chest pain. Always see a Dr. You can't tell if its band related, indigestion or something to do with your heart so you should always get it checked out.
