Any help

I have had the surgery for a few months & am scheduled for my 3rd fill (already 6 cc), is it possible I might not be catching my food still? I can eat, but I am waiting for that 3-4 bites of protein & being stuffed.

You should be able to eat 1/2cup to a cup of food and feel full four 4 to 5 hours. Start with protein, then veggies, then if you have room whole grains. That is what restriction should feel like. Hope this helps.

If your waiting for that "stuffed" feeling you'll be waiting forever. You may expect to feel SATISFIED on 3-4 bites once you reach really good restriction, but stuffed, never!

I had my first fill this week. I did my 3 days of liquid and did mushy. I had 1/2 cup mashed potato and 1/2 cup of ground beef with some salsa and sour cream on it. Needing a taco fix. I felt FULL. I was very satisfied and happy.

They put 5 cc in my large band for my 1st fill.

Linda

You should really try to aim for satisfied with your band not full.
