40 pounds! That's super amazing  Good job, Happy!

I have lost 17lbs total, 2lbs pre-op, 15 post

I am so confused. I don't know if my port is close to my biggest scar or what that is. But I have something hard by the scar, and it is a little painful. I am scared that I have done something to hurt the port and cause it to move. Can someone please help me understand where the port is. I was banded on 11/25.

Thank you all!!

mine is centered below the longer scar about a half inch . if you press in with a couple of fingers, like you are feeling for a baby in utereo you will feel a circle lump about the size of a quarter.

I weighed 202 this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats 33.5 pounds gone since my first consult, 7 pounds of that is post op.

You and I are about the same S.E !! I weighed in this AM @ 202 and I am down 11 lbs since surgery, 2 weeks ago today, and a total of 29.5 lbs since my 1st visit.

I'm glad you guys are all doing so well. Lets keep up the good work. I am finally going to get back on the treadmill tomorrow. I just wasnt up to it. Has anybody on here had issues with just not having enough energy? I know that the lack of calories has alot to do with it. But geesh i just want to sleep all the time.

energy.... ya whats that? Its getting better but man I drag bad at the end of the day!

I am excited as most of you.....since my surgery I lost 26lbs but i really dont see it~! Many people that dont know I had it dont tell me, but i still have a hard time seeing it... does anyone have this problem? or when will I start noticing??:)

you will start to notice it soon enough the only people who have commented are my mom and dad not even the hubby has said anything and I am down 38lbs since my first consult only 14 post op but still thats dam nearly 40lbs lol.. The hubby likes thick women so i guess thats why he hasnt comented..

I have seriously noticed a lack of energy. About 6 o'clock everyday I find myself nodding off and I'm so tired throughout the day as well. -sigh- Maybe I need to work out more to help build up that energy.

@Socalchic - My husband likes me a little thick as well, but he'd much prefer me to be happy. He hates seeing me looking at clothes in the mall and then get depressed because I know they don't carry my size. He's been a big support for me during this whole process :)

My energy has been great since surgery, but that's most likely due to the fact that I've seriously restricted my carbs and when I do have them, I try not to have more than about 30 gm at a meal. Otherwise, within an hour I'm literally falling asleep in my chair and dragging around the warehouse.

For the last couple of days I've felt just overall sluggish but I think it's due to the weather getting colder. I think I was a bear in my last life and I just want to hibernate when winter comes. :)
