Hello everyone!

Hello, my name is Angie. I am 28 years old and got the shock of a life time today when I went to the doctor and found out that I weigh about 282, I never thought that I would weigh this much, I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2005 and I have been struggling with that ever since then. My doc says that is part of the reason I am so heavy, I have tried dieting and exercising but nothing seems to work. I am all for getting the lap band but my fiance and I want to hear from people how they are liking it and if they think it is really worth it. Is it uncomfortable or anything like that? Please feel free to let me know anything you might want to know, I haven't made any appointments yet or anything. I want to know how other people feel about having it and stuff like that.

Thanks for your time!:bored:

I was just banded in August, And I love my band I would do it again. I recovered quickly. It has truly changed my life , I have lost 32 lbs from my highest weight.I just go my third fill last week and I am thinking I am at my sweet spot. The best thing i have found with the band is you CAN NOT eat too much with out being sick. I get full so quick now, it is awesome.Go to the chat sometime, it is great to actually talk to people at all different stages of their lap band journey.
