Hard to breath

I had surgery 9 months ago and everything went great. Since then I have had limited weight loss and hardly any restriction. Yesterday I recieved a fill bringing my band to 5.5cc's. Today I began having difficulty breathing. No pain, it just feels like I'm laboring to catch my breath. I have experienced anxiety attacks in the past and the feeling is similar. I called my Dr's office to be sure that it is not related to the band. The nurse said the Dr. was unavailable and that I should go to the ER and have the band deflated as a precautionary measure. It has taken me 9 months to get to 5.5 cc's, I don't want to start over. Has anyone had a similar experience? I'm not sure what to do.

Sorry you're having problems but I'm a newbie so I don't have any advice. I'd call the dr.'s offcie back and insist on a call back, though. You deserve the proper attention.

ive been feeling that way lately too. I also have aniexty. I have no idea what it is? did you get anywhere with the dr. or anything?
