I have a question....

I have been banded for almost 3 years now. My actual weight is 121 Pounds, I can eat almost everything and not have a problem, but I've been having an almost constant diarrhea, it's like one week I'm Ok, and then the other I'm not.

I went to my doctor and have some tests done and everything appears to be OK.

Could this be band related? Have any of you had this problem?

Should I get worried?

I can't imagine that the band is your problem. It isn't altering your absorption of food and nutrients like a sleeve or bypass. I hope you get to the bottom of whatever is the problem, and I hope it is not the band.

I'm having the exact same thing going on...if not diarrhea then very soft stools every day...so far I've had a colonoscopy, endoscopy, gallbladder ultrasound and everything came back normal. I do think it is the band. I'm going to see my lapband Dr. this Tuesday to schedule to have it out. I can't live like this anymore. I carry Immodium in my purse because I never know when the diarrhea will strike.

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
