New to the site

Hello everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Stacy and I'm from Tn. I received my band in August of 2008. I have since lost 92 pounds. I know that most of you have lost more than this, but all the same, I am very pleased with my weight loss.

However, the following I am not so pleased with. I have been at a complete stand still for about a month now. I'm not losing nor am I gaining. The not gaining I can deal with, the not losing is what is driving me crazy. I know that I don't need an adjustment because I am still getting full pretty fast and staying full long enough not to want to snack during meals due to being hungry. I still have those cravings to snack all day long, but mostly when I am bored and have nothing to do. During these times, I try my best to find something to do, but you can only clean the kitchen so many times during the day..lol.

Anyone out there have any tips on how to start the weight loss again? If so, I would greatly appreciate the advice.

A lot of people have had good luck using the 5-day pouch test. You can search for it on this forum. It should get you kick started in the right direction!

Congrats on your weight loss so far!

Perhaps you need to increase your workout time. When the scale stops moving for me I exercise more. When you feel bored and want a snack go for a walk around the block.

Maybe you need to go back to basics. Start logging your food intake. Try decreasing your calorie intake by about 100 calories and see if it works.
