Solid foods

I have been banded since sept 21 2009. My doctor said I sould be eating more chopped food than I am. I am sticking to eggs and soups because other foods are just so hard to get down. When I do eat soilds it feels as if its stuck. I have lost 50 pounds so far and didnt even get a fill yet. What should I be eating, does anyone else have a problem getting the food down.

Your doctor is telling you this because solid foods will give you satiety (you will feel full longer). Soft foods, soups and Protein shakes will not stay in your pouch very long.

My band is so tight right now that my chest feels a little sore but I can still get down chicken if I take very tiny bites. Take tiny nibbles of chicken and chew well and you will be fine.
