November 2, 200916 yr :cool2:I'm not sure there is a "normal" with regards to hunger or not. It seems like people are all over the place. In my case, I was banded 5 days ago and have just figured out that some of my post-surgery discomfort is actually extreme hunger. For some reason, it took me four days to realize that after I eat, the discomfort goes away for an hour or so. I'd say count it as a blessing that you're not feeling hungry - as long as you're able to get your Protein down!
November 3, 200916 yr I didn't feel hungry for the first month. I think it was the swelling. Now I could eat the dog if I had one! I have to be very careful in what I eat and how much.
November 3, 200916 yr Hi, Banded Oct 13th not hungry-- my breakfast is a shake, my lunch if basic fat free cottage cheese - either 2tbs hummus or 1/4 deviled ham and am allowed fat free saltines. by dinner i guess you could say i am slightly hungry and usually consume around 3/4 of whatever dinner is - i made a ground turkey mash potatoe thing and butter nut squash, i had 1/4 sqaush and 1/2 cup of then other.. that filled me up just fine. I find if i drink water all day i am even less hungry.
November 3, 200916 yr 6 days here... sooooo much gas. No hunger! I hope it lasts until I lose my un-needed weight. Loads of gas pain...Can someone come roll me around the floor for a couple days.
