I've got a surgery date!!!! Nov. 19th!!!!!

OK after fighting and fighting with insurance and doctors I am just going to go for it!!!! I am doing self pay, took out a loan and am going to Dr. Kirshenbaum in Denver for my surgery!!! My surgery date is November 19th which was my orginal date here.

I am sooooo excited and scared all at the same time!!!! Any helpful advice as I go through the next two weeks would be awesome!!!!!

Also - how long should I take off of work????? I'm a hairstylist and stand all day so I'm thinking of going back part time at first, but not sure when????????

Congrats on getting a surgery date!! Good for you that you're taking matters into your own hands and just going for it!

I think you should be fine to take a week off from work. Be sure you have some time in between appointments though so you are able to sit down and take a rest in between.

Good luck to you! Looks like you 'solved Thanksgiving' LOL

I am havingmy surgery on november 19th too
