Band Types

I need to know more about the kind of band my doctor put in 8 weeks ago, but can't really find it on the internet. Anyone know where to look? He told me when I got my first fill today (3 cc's) that I had a lap band AP 8. What does that mean? Where can I go to find out? Help!

Hi Rebecca,

You probably have the LapBand APS (standard) which is 10 cc. It also comes in large - APL, which is 14 cc. You can find out more info by either clicking on the "New" tab on the upper right corner of this site, or go to www.lapband.com

Regards,

Joan
