2 days post op question

Hey

Did any one else gain weight in the days following surgery? On surgery day I weighed 316, I weighed again this morning at 320. What is the reason for this? I have only had liquids and have walked a mile on the treadmill both days. What gives?

Hi Brent,

I didnt gain any weight, but were you in the hospital overnight? Or did you have a couple of IV's? Maybe it's just Water retention or your body saying "whoa where's my calories? i'm gonna hang on to what i have for a bit longer." before letting go. I know it's hard but try to be patient. It will happen.

I think it's mostly IV fluid and water retention. I gained too, but it was gone in a few days after surgery.
