neck pain

I have had bad neck pain in the back of my neck. It is very stiff when I try to turn it and is very uncomfortable to sleep on. It feels like its from when they had the breathing tube in and had my head tilted back. Ive tried heat and massage but nothing has helped so far. It is the only discomfort Ive had. Has anyone else experienced this? My surgery was October 1st.

I think that neck and shoulder pain are pretty common for 2 reasons. 1. The way you are positioned on the operating room table and 2. They fill your abdominal cavity with air, which can move and cause some discomfort. Activity and stetching may help.
