First fill and discomfort

Hi friends --

I had my first fill this week. It was a little unexpected, since I went in for infected stitches and my surgeon decided to do a fill since I was there.

I was a little unprepared mentally, but that's OK.

My issue is I seem to have cramping on my right side (my port is on the right). It's not pain, per se, just solid discomfort.

Is this normal?

I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to, but after a fill I usually feel bloated and crampy (similar to the TOM feeling). If you experience anything you feel is abnormal, make sure to check with your doctor's office for reassurance.

I had my first fill yesterday and really haven't felt much of anything. I think you should probably contact your doctor just to be sure nothing's wrong. Keep us posted!
