Okay, so I had my surgery August 13th and I've had irregular periods all my life, though I'm only 19. I have had a period on and off for 6 weeks and I don't know if anyone here has experienced this. Today, it has been really heavy and it's really starting to worry me. It's not a normal color either, its very bright.

I hope someone can help me with information but I do have my first fill tomorrow so I can ask my surgeon, and I have an appointment with my doctor as well.

Go to an OBGYN. I dont think it has anything to do with your band. I have had irregular periods my whole life too, so I have also had lots of tests. Everything is fine with me but I am aware of what "might be" with the bleeding you are having now. Call your OBGYN and make sure you are OK.
