I think I am screwed (a cold)

Surgery on Wednesday. Daughter is sick ear infection, son is getting sick and I feel like I am heading down that road. I really don't want to postpone this. I have done 2 weeks of liquids and really don't want to do 2 more prior to surgery + he is typically booked out about 3 months out and if I don't get it done within the next month I have to start all over. Anyone out there have surgery with a cold? Hopefully I can hold out 2 more days.

My doc postponed mine for a few days after I had been on a 21 day liquid diet cuz of a cold.I was so upset.I did not want to drink those shakes anymore but I did . Anyway I went in to surgery feeling fine just a phlemy couph in the morning well he said we should have waited a couple more days cuz i started couphing really bad when I was put under. It sucks to wait but if you do have a cold at the time of surgery you better tell the doc just to be safe...Good luck hope youll be OK

Greg, you really need to go ahead and call your doctor and tell him what is going on. I understand how upsetting it will be if you have to postpone, but it is better safe than sorry.
