I got my approvel from my insurance company today and I am thrilled. Looks like a tenative date of nov 9.. I wish it was a little bit sooner, but thats ok. I am sure I will have lots of question as the date gets closer. this site has been great to read about the pros and cons. I have been doing my research on different types of surgeries for the past year. I have even watched the surgeries on line. A little about my self.. I'm am 49 and will be 50 in december. I have been married for 30 years to my high school sweetheart. I was a beanpole in high school and active in sports. I have 3 grown children all out of the house, 2 married. 2 grandchildren and one due in october. I have been a nurse for the past 18 years working a full time job, and for the past 5 years working a part time job as well. My husband is of average size and I feel like a fatty next to him. he has never complained about my weight but then he is visually impaired LOL. I have gained 85lbs the past 18 years. I am very active but have bad eating habits due to always being on the go. I am hoping with some will power and restriction I can get back in control of my weight.
