Shrinking Violets - Part 5!

Here you go, my Sweet Violets! Another new home for our daily musings....

"Thus nature has no love for solitude, and always leans, as it were, on some support; and the sweetest support is found in the most intimate friendship."

Oh poor lil guy!

Yet another disappointment today, re ds & soccer... what the hell is wrong w this year? Why is everything going wrong? I'd love just one day where I don't feel sad & cry. Every day when I wake up I think that this is the day that things will turn around, but every day I'm wrong. Sigh. But, am glad I'm here for him. Man this year is beating the shut out of me.

That should be "shit"... stupid phone that corrects words to what it thinks it should be.

Good afternoon, Violets..

Sorry to hear Carson is sick again. Poor little guy. Poor Mom and Dad!

Michelle.. what happened with ds and soccer??? So sorry you're going through all of this.

We are under a winter weather advisory for tonight and tomorrow. Since when is it winter???? Up to 4 inches of heavy, wet snow expected tonight and tomorrow. I'll believe it when I see it. My fingers are crossed for all my new plants.

Can someone please tell me how to post a new thread. I am able to repond to people's threads but I don't know how to make a new post. HELP PLEASE!! Thanks in advance...

Yeah what happened with ds & soccer???

Yeah, this isn't the thread for that. Go to intro or somewhere like that.

Long story. He's still playing, but didn't get invited to an upper-level tournament, after working really hard toward that goal all year.

Sorry, didn't mean to go into it all... but last Monday after my weekend away, both kids had major meltdowns... seems they save up all their hurts for me... this was on top of the car bs... I really think we're all still processing the events of the past few months... everyone is so tender and bruises more easily than usual... we need each other more... things that. normally wed deal w well we deal w badly... is this making sense? Bleh.

You know it's bad when ERE didn't cheer me up. I go back to my doc on tues and an going to ask her to crank up the dosage on the happy pills. Maybe a continuous drip would do it?

Yeah, this isn't the thread for that. Go to intro or somewhere like that.

LOL Michelle...

((Michelle)) I FEEL YA SISTER! Did you get your hormones checked? Just wondering.

Hang in there, hopefully a good dose of Violets and a wedding will help!

So much happened today. Remind me to tell you about Klausy (my 'old' dog) and how he had to go to the ER today :)... he is ok, but tenant f'd up!

Had a fun happy hour today!!!
