sore throat and 2 other ???

I had lap band done over 16 months ago and have lost 88 lbs. Im concerned because I have a sore throat (esophagus) slot lately.. any one else have this problem? Another thing I was wondering is like if I drink water and then lay down I have this gurgling thing that goes on up and down my throat (not sure if I am explaining this clear enough) and lastly.. how long should you wait from eating and laying down? I must say I have been away from the forum for awhile and I will be researching and chatting on here to find my answers.. but any help you can give me would be appreciated :blushing: thank you Missy

You may have reflux; you need to contact your surgeon. Don't delay; if you DO have it and catch it quickly it can be a non-event, but if you let it go on it can do damage (but your surgeon will diagnose you)

As to the lying down, it would depend on how tight you are, how long food lingers in the pouch, how long it takes you to digest. I'd "guess" 2-3 hours at least. I try to give it at least 4 hours myself.
