Follow-up care - Mexico Surgery

I am schedule for the 18th in Monterrey - plan to have my fills done at FillCenter USA here in Austin.

So far, I have been very pleased with the quick response to questions I get from Dr. Zapata's staff - but I was wondering - has anyone had any problem with issues post-op care?

Obviously I can't fly back and forth to Monterrey for follow-up visits - but is it really necessary?:)

I had my surgery in Mexicali, Mexico and everything this far has gone very well. No complications or problems.

I wish you well,

Donna

Where do you get your fills done? Do you keep in touch with your surgeon?

I have returned to Mexicali for both of my fills. My medical provider has agreed to do them as well but not under fluoroscopy. For this reason I return to Mexicali. It's only about a 7 hour round trip drive for us so my husband and I just make a day of it and enjoy the outing. The assistant surgeon is the one who does my fills.
