Vitamins

I am having my surgery on August 11th, I have started my 10 day liquid diet. I am taking 3 calcium chews, a daily vitamin and a vitamin B Complex. Should I be taking others?

    You should call your doctor if you have any questions. I know my doctor specifically told me NOT to take calcium 30 days before and 30 days after the surgery. I know each doctor has his/her own policy.

    I agree, check with your doc as to what supplements s/he wants you to take. :)

    Although the "no calcium" rule is one I've never heard of...

    Each doc seems to vary.

    My dr said no vitamins of any kind 2 weeks before. He said some can cause a bad interaction with the anestheia (sp) Def. call and see what the reccomend
