Surgery in a few weeks.

I just joined this sight and I am looking for advise, just general advise on what I should do pre-surgery for the best outcome. I have lost 20 pounds, am exercising daily and eating plenty of protein.

Also, anyone in Elk Grove, Ca?

I was just banded on 7/7/09 and just signed up for this site in the past week. The best thing I did for myself pre-op was to take time eating my meals...portion control...smaller plates and utensils...getting my fluids in...setting time aside for my meals...and walking. This is just my opinion but it has helped me in the past 2 weeks since my surgery. Best of luck to you. I am on opposite sides of the states...I'm all the way in Delaware. Also, congratulations on the 20 pound weight loss! That is great! You are doing wonderful!

Most doctor's have a pre-op diet. You should follow it very closely and you will be fine. Seems like you are already making great decisions for yourself! Good luck, I'm sure you will do great!

It sounds like you are already making good decisions for your health. I'll bet you are already feeling better. Keep up the good work.
