Hello y'all! I'm Susan, and I'm having lap band surgery on Friday!! I am excited and nervous! LOL

I have been a size 30/32 way too long, and I am definitely ready!! :smile:

Congrats Susan. I was at the 30/32 size when I started and I am now in size 18/20 mostly now and still have a ways to go but recently bought 1 jacket/blazer that was a size 16 and it buttoned. I was dancing around the store showing my mom. That is the clothing benefit but more importantly, my health is dramatically improving every day, the joint pains are easing off, my cholesterol is better, etc.

BTW -- Lemon Pie avatar and LemonPopTart -- why did you choose that login? Interesting. My dad loved lemon meringue pie -he's been gone now for a number of years but it made me think of him when I saw your posting.

I am sorry about your dad. :sneaky: My "LemonPOPTart" user name is a U2 reference. :thumbup: I went to go see the band U2 in 1997 and it was the "popmart" tour. Their bassist wore a tee shirt that said, "poptart", and they had a huge "lemon" spaceship. LOL I know it sounds really stupid but it was really cool at the time. :eek: I have used Lemonpoptart ever since I've been online. :bored: Trust me, there are no obsessions here with Breakfast pastries! LOL
