I was just checking to see if I had posted anything, and back in February was my first post just talking about going to a seminar for the lap band surgery.
So much has happened since then. On June 15, 2009 I was banded. I have already lost 20% of my excess body weight, my BMI has gone from 45 down to 40. I'm just so amazed at the energy level I have now. Yesterday I went for my first fill. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. All my doctors and caregivers revolving around this surgery have been wonderful! My friends and family have been more than supportive I really couldn't ask for more. I am so glad I made this decision to change my life. All I want is a healthy lifestyle and to be able to play with my children. :scared2:
